Software Support/1st Line Support

Salary £18500.00

Do you have a passion and keen interest in IT and keen to secure a position with a local company, somewhere that can offer you training and full support? Would suit someone at trainee level - just out of Uni or College! 

A 1st Line Software Support/Data Analyst is required to join a growing organisation based in Stourbridge, responsible for providing high quality support and managing customer issues and queries through to resolution. We are a well-established (2004) unique provider of intelligent, proactive software solutions to global brands in the automotive industry.

The Role

To act as an initial point of contact for any customer issues and to provide technical support
To diagnose and resolve technical incidents and requests
To gain an accurate understanding of customer issues and the best way in which to resolve them
To provide customers with product usage advice and guidance
To escalate major incidents and complaints

Your Background & Experience

Strong customer service background and a sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Experience of Microsoft Excel (basic)
Basic SQL skills would be beneficial
Not essential but an understanding of ITIL principles would be beneficial
Regression Testing - Trainig offered
