Vision for Education are currently working alongside a range of Special Educational Needs schools in Trafford looking for 1:1 Teaching Assistants.

The Role

You will be expected to provide support to students with a range of special education needs and disabilities in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
You will need to be confident and able to work independently to support learning and facilitate each student’s development in a progressive way
We will be looking for someone with the right personality and skill set to support young people in fulfilling their best protentional
There are opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school after a qualifying period
The school

We support a range of inclusive and well-established SEN schools in Trafford that cater for primary and secondary aged students
Students are placed in classes based on their ability as well as their age
Class sizes are small with a high staff to pupil ratio
You will have the opportunity to work closely with staff, parents, and carers to ensure the pupils you support are engaged in learning
Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

Have a desire to work with children with special educational needs and disabilities  
Have a confident, positive, and caring personality
·       Be willing to work in Trafford  
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant: 

Have relevant experience of working with children and young people
