Cross Deck, the leading recruitment platform, has formed a partnership with Forces Network to enable more of those with a military background, and their families, to move on to a rewarding second career with access to jobs with the best employers that value their experience.
Forces.net is part of the Forces Network, the UK’s only media organisation dedicated to Britain’s armed forces and veterans, which also includes BFBS TV and BFBS Radio.
Many employers recognise that those who have served in the military have desirable and transferrable skills, and have indicated their commitment to hiring ex-military personnel by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
We offer these employers a direct route to this valuable talent pool. It is also a one-stop shop for employment opportunities for ex-military and their families.
Companies that list their vacancies with us will be financially supporting the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC), a not-for-profit organisation, which has a mission to inform, entertain, connect and champion the British armed forces. It operates the Forces Network, which runs a number of broadcasting and media services for the British military, many under contract to the Ministry of Defence (MoD). These services include running radio stations (Forces Radio BFBS) in places with large concentrations of British military, abroad and at home, and broadcasting the best of British TV (BFBS Television) to forces and their families based overseas.
Our other media services include Forces TV, which offers a mix of entertainment and military-related news and factual programmes, and is available on Sky, Virgin, Freesat and Freeview, while www.forces.net features the latest news on the UK armed forces and from the wider military world. We also offer media and digital training to the armed forces, military veterans and government clients; live entertainment and cinema services to the military; and bespoke media distribution systems to the military and intergovernmental organisations.
